You know that broken speedo you have been keeping all these years I want it.

Broken glass - no problem.

Mechanism gutted for spare parts - no problem.

In fact all I really want/need is a straight (well round really) can, preferably glass intact but not critical.

What have you go and how much do you want? I will of course cover postage to Australia.

Hi Tony. Don't know if you found what you need yet but I have this available. It is off of an LS that I bought as a spare parts bike. When I got it the speedo was full of water (you can see the line) so I am sure the insides are useless.

PM me if you are interested and I can make you a great deal.

Keep your bike in good repair:  motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking.

Thank you, but I've already bought two dead speedos. One, or maybe both, are going to have an 85mm  GPS speedo fitted to them. Aliexpress has them for around $US80 which is much cheaper than the Speed Hut devices I looked at a year or so back.

They are not as good as the Speed Hut instruments - no trip meter and no full time battery "hot start". Nor do I think at that price they will have the inertial chip in them to provide a speed reading when our of sight of the sky.

But, hey, they are cheap enough to take a punt on one.
